FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

QUESTIONS FREQUENTLY ANSWERED.

What Is The Eligibility To The Outdoor Campus Programs ?
Students must be of minimum 09-10 years of age to participate in any of our outdoor campuses’ activity / program. The minimum height required is about 3.10-4.0 feet and the maximum weight of a participating student for harnessed activity should not exceed 120 Kgs.

What Is The Kind Of Accommodation Provided ?
Students, depending on the campus your program is scheduled at…you’ll get to stay in either tents, dormitories, rooms or cabins. If the facilitator/s want to add an additional experience quotient and under clear skies, you’d probably even sleep under the stars in a secure and supervised environment and in your sleeping bags.

Does The Accommodation Have Ensuite Refreshing Rooms ?
Quite a few of the campuses have ensuite refreshing rooms, while others may have a refresh facility not far from the camping or tented area. All campuses however, provide a hot bath amenity [either piped or bucketed] throughout the year.

Can The Favorite School Friends Stay Together In The Same Accommodation ?
Good friends are forever, but this will be a time to build better peer relationships and friendship with the others as well, hence the accommodation room list is quite random and may not really help in the best friends staying together.

Are The Campus Accommodations Separate For Girls & Boys ?
Yes, Girls and Boys will be accommodated in separate facilities whether in tents, dormitories, rooms or cabins. Girls and Boys will have a dedicated gent and lady accommodation support person respectively.

How Much Should A Camper Pack?
First and foremost, we DO NOT encourage any student or camper to bring suitcases or trolley bags to the program. Students or campers must bring their minimum required baggage ONLY in a Rucksack or Backpack. The same can double to hold your change of clothes if your heading to a water based activity or on a long trek and need to carry water bottles or an extra pair of tees or footwear etc. Packing light is a must and campers will be advised accordingly prior to a scheduled departure.

What About Diet Restrictions & Preferences?
It is important for Institutional co-ordinators  [parents if it’s a camp] to keep us informed of the dietary restrictions and meal preferences [veg or non-veg] of students/campers well ahead of the programs so we can accommodate the service requests accordingly.

How About Medical Assistance & Injury Management At The Campuses?
We have adequate First Aid and First Response injury management at every campus. A qualified doctor is always available on a call for early assistance if required. In the event of such incidents the Institution and the parent respectively will be notified. However, we have had zero such incidents ever since 1998.

Should A Student / Camper Need To Make Elaborate Preparations Before A Program ?
Nothing much really but decent amount of fitness and good health are an important quotient to having a quality program experience. Most activities have their own set of orientation prior to the actual activity, hence a cool head, positive attitude and a focused mind is all that is most needed.

What is the standard safety protocol in our programs?

Safety Standards – All the equipment used by our activity associates are UIAA recommended brands that are maintained, monitored and upgraded accordingly. For every land, water and airborne activity, safety equipment is provided accordingly. Safety Reviews are a part of our risk assessment and safety management. Prior to and during a program or camp all the equipment used are reviewed on a daily basis for the safety of students and campers by our activity facilitators. Safety is our utmost priority.
